Dakin’s Half Strength Antimicrobial Wound Cleanser is designed for use both pre- and post-surgery; wound management; wound irrigation and cleansing; preventing and treating infections of the skin and tissue; and as a wetting agent for wet-to-moist dressings. It is also effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms including viruses, bacteria, yeasts, and molds (fungi), and since it is a topical antimicrobial that is effective upon contact, it is ideal for use on cuts, abrasions, and skin ulcers.
