1. How should I prepare this product?
Proper hygiene, preparation, and storage are essential for your baby’s safety and nutrition. Follow these steps carefully:
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before preparing the formula.
- Pour the desired amount of water into a clean bottle.
- Add the powder using the scoop provided in the can. Store the scoop dry in the can.
- Cap the bottle and shake well to mix. Feed immediately or store in the refrigerator.
Mixing Instructions:
- Use 1 unpacked, level scoop (4.5 g) of powder for every 1 fl oz of water.
- Note: Each scoop adds approximately 0.1 fl oz to the prepared formula. For example, adding 3 scoops of powder to 3 fl oz of water will yield about 3.3 fl oz of formula.
Important Warnings:
- Do not use a microwave to warm the formula as it can result in serious burns.
- Failure to follow these instructions may lead to severe harm.
- Once prepared, infant formula can spoil quickly:
- Feed immediately or store covered in the refrigerator at 35-40°F (2-4°C) for up to 24 hours.
- Do not use if left unrefrigerated for more than 2 hours.
- Do not freeze prepared formula.
- Discard unused formula if feeding is not completed within 1 hour after feeding begins.
