Geri-Care Anti-Diarrheal Caplets contain the active ingredient Loperamide HCl, designed to help control the symptoms of diarrhea. Each caplet delivers 2 mg of Loperamide HCl. This medication comes in tablet form and is suitable for individuals aged 6 and older.

Recommended Dosage:

Children 6-8 years old (48-59 lbs): Take 1 caplet after the first loose stool, then ½ caplet after each subsequent loose stool, not exceeding 2 caplets in 24 hours.
Children 9-11 years old (60-95 lbs): Take 1 caplet after the first loose stool, then ½ caplet after each subsequent loose stool, not exceeding 3 caplets in 24 hours.
Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 2 caplets after the first loose stool, then 1 caplet after each subsequent loose stool, not exceeding 4 caplets in 24 hours.

When should you not take anti-diarrheal medication?
