- This cream provides temporary relief from itching, redness, and inflammation caused by eczema, psoriasis, insect bites, poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, seborrheic dermatitis, and external genital or anal itching.
How often can I apply this cream?
- Apply a thin layer to the affected area up to 3-4 times daily, as directed on the packaging. Do not use for more than 7 days unless instructed by a doctor.
Can I use this cream on my face?
- Hydrocortisone cream should not be used on the face unless directed by a healthcare provider, as prolonged use may cause skin thinning.
Is this product safe for children?
- This cream can be used on children 2 years and older, but it’s best to consult a doctor before use, especially for prolonged treatment.
Can I use this cream for fungal infections like athlete’s foot or ringworm?
- No, hydrocortisone does not treat fungal infections. It may help relieve itching, but an antifungal medication is needed to address the underlying infection.
